The Happy Couple!
Almost two years later, I am finally sharing some pictures from our wedding. Some of you will have seen them on Myspace or Facebook, but for those of you not on that circuit...here you go!
William and I got married on August 29, 2007. We had a small ceremony that suits us just fine. We may plan to take a trip (in a few years) with some of the parents and renew our vows in Ireland, but we will see.
The day we got married it was VERY hot! So, in some pictures you can probably tell by looking at us. We still had a wonderful time. After the ceremony we went to Old Town Alexandria and had a wonderful dinner. It was an amazing day!
A week or so later we went on our honeymoon! We had a great time in North Carolina on the beach. It was sweet, Will proposed on the beach so we thought it would be nice to celebrate our marriage at the beach as well!
Since I am not a huge fan of cake, we bought a bottle of wine from the Cotton Gin in North Carolina. It was a cute shop we saw on our way home. They sell a lot of wine and crafty things. We opened the bottle of wine (It was called Atlantis) on our one year anniversary. Thus, replacing the cake. Whenever we make a trip to NC we try to pick up the same bottle of wine (we both really liked it). We currently have one waiting to be opened on our next anniversary, which is less than three months away!!!
