No School Fun

Colin had no school last Friday (he is off tomorrow too), so we made a day trip down south and went to Wildlife Safari. The kids love seeing all of the animals. We were able to see a lady petting two cheetahs. They were being so affectionate towards her. Later we saw a worker feeding the alligators. One was injured somehow so the food had to be killed first and laid right next to it.

There were more animals in the petting area. I think that is one of my favorite parts. The animals are so cute. Plus, I remember going to that area as a kid.

This guy does not like being there. For some reason he is in a more restricted area then the cats usually are. Last time, this cougar ( I am pretty sure it is the same one due to his/her stare down) obviously wanted to attack Meli (who did not even notice it)...this trip nothing changed. The cougar still stalked Meli the whole time.

Colin is being a cougar on top of a turtle. My silly boy.
Colin loves the lemurs. Probably partly due to Madagascar and party just because they look cool. Plus, he has a stuffed animal of one.

I think this weekend we are headed to the pumpkin patch. The kids are super excited. Softball season is over, so more time on the weekend. Will started playing kickball. He has not played since grade school, but his first game went well. How could you not have fun drinking beer and playing kickball?!?

Colin had his first teacher conference for the year. He is doing really well. Adjusting to full-days pretty good. He, of course, needs to work on not socializing too much (who would have guessed that?!?). Our social butterfly. Oh boy.
