I cannot believe that tomorrow is 30 weeks. This pregnancy has seriously gone by so fast. Baby girl is moving and kicking me like crazy! Before when she was not moving as much it was more like she was flipping around but now (the last few days) she has been punching and kicking, especially in my rib area. You can definitely see my belly move with each kick. Colin was leaning back on me the other night and I swear his little sister was trying to get an early start on pestering him by knocking him in the head! Colin has been super cute the last week or so with regards to his sister. He asked if the baby was going to bring him a gift! He has also been carrying around his bunny like he is a baby and pretending to change his diaper and feed him a 'baba'. He also put him down for a nap. I think we are going to have a very helpful big brother on our hands.
I finally was able to get in for my glucose test. The flat, too sweet tasting orange drink was so much easier (still terrible) to drink this time around then with my last pregnancy. I think with Colin I was still having nausea that the drink made it worse. Fingers-crossed that I passed so I do not have to take the 3 hour test. I always feel a little funky after these test. I am guessing because I usually do not have that much sugar at once.
In some ways I am grateful that this pregnancy is going by so fast and has been relatively (actually very) easy. I rarely have heart burn, my morning sickness has been very minimal and I feel pretty good majority of the time. My body though is more uncomfortable this time around. Even when my stomach was still really small it was harder to bend down and certain movements seemed to cause sharp pains. I feel like I have had to restrict myself earlier this time. When it is necessary for me to pick up Colin I can feel the strain (thankfully I do not have to do that much). He knows that I will cuddle him when we are sitting. I told Will this morning that I am going to have to steal back my body pillow that I bought last time and he has been using since I was all healed up. Now I want it back!! | The beginning of Week 29 - note to self: this dress makes you look big! |
| End of week 29 - tighter shirts make you look smaller! |
