Our Baby Girl: Week 31

Today is my last day at 31 weeks.  Baby girl will be here before we know it.  At my appointment this week my doctor said that I was measuring small so she did a quick ultrasound to see where baby girl was measuring at. She is measuring big!  So, I am measuring around 29 weeks, but am 31 weeks and my baby is measuring around 33 weeks!  At least she is measuring ahead and not behind.  She looked so cute on the screen and has a good heart rate.  My doctor also thinks that I cracked my tailbone, which she said will make my recovery a little more painful but the epidural should take care of discomfort during the delivery and she can give me narcotics afterwards.  I am just glad it will not make anything harder for our little girl. Since she has her work cut out for her - just like mommy!

So, this week has been pretty good.  I am still in the same pain but adapting to it and getting somewhat used to it.  I am very tired but am nesting so want to do more than I should or can.  Will is good at telling me to stop and then I tell him what I want done.  I do what I can that does not involve bending but keeps me from sitting, which is the most painful.  So, I have been cleaning a lot.

My belly just keeps getting bigger but is still relatively small.

Colin and I went to the library this week to return his books and mommy's audio book.  We picked out a book about baby sisters.  He is pretty excited to read that one.  I think he is going to be a great big brother.

Yay for 32 weeks tomorrow.  We have a busy weekend so I wanted to get this out before I got behind.
