| My sweeties! |
Will asked me what I wanted to do for Mother's Day this year...and all I could think about was hiking. At first, I thought I would want to spend the day kid-free. All by myself. A day to do all of the things I want to do, but just do not have the time. Nope. I passed on my kid-free day - surprisingly. The more I thought about it, the more I knew I wanted a day outside with my beautiful family. I am so glad I did. We had such a good time. We went on a hike to a beautiful waterfall. It was a gorgeous day. Meli was a bit tired (she did not sleep well the night before) but she had fun.
To start my day, I had coffee in bed, breakfast picked out by Colin and sweet little presents. Meli bought me something to replace what she broke at her party. Colin made me the sweetest card and a painting of the two of us. He also bought me some fancy coffee and a new mint plant. Will got me a fresco-type art piece for my goddess bath area. I am so excited!
After breakfast, we just had a low-key morning until we headed on our hike. It was just a perfect day. Spent with the people I love.

| A worn-out mama. I had to carry Meli the hike back. Was not expecting that. |
Thankfully, I was able to celebrate with my mom during the week. My brother and I, took her out to dinner and a movie. We had not done that in so long. It was very nice to hang out with both of them.
