The battle is pretty much over...I won!!! We now have a routine that we get dressed and do our hair in the morning. She picks the style (pigtails, ponytail or braids)...and it stays for most of the day now. Unless, she gets grumpy. Then out comes the hair ties.
The pictures are a new braid I was trying. I am still working on it. I am not very good with hair, especially straight hair. Braiding it is not easy. Being used to curly hair, Meli's is so slippery to me. I have a similar problem when I straighten my hair.
Now that I have her cooperating, I can focus on taking the time for a nice part!
