Kindergarten: Closing a Chapter

First day/Last day
Colin had his last day of Kindergarten last week. Up until the actual last day, I was not really putting too much thought into it emotionally. Other mamas were talking about it, but in my head I was thinking "eh, it happens". Then the last day came...and welcome emotional rollercoaster! Thankfully, I was able to contain it mostly internally. When he walked out of the school doors, Meli gave Colin a big hug!  Seeing him next to her (she is so small), it hit me - he is getting so big!! Gone is my toddler. My "big boy". My baby. He has grown and changed so much this year. I cannot believe we are done with Kindergarten and next year he will be at school all day.

He is still my baby
Excuse the messy chalkboard. My husband uses it to track his boxing rounds and never cleans it properly.  Of course, we were also running late for school (of all days). So I rushed to clean it.

Colin's T-ball season is over. He had a lot of fun playing. I am so proud of how much he has improved in the two months. Next year, he can move on to coach pitch.  This year they let some of the kids try the coach pitching instead of the tee. Colin was doing pretty good at batting that way.

He was trying to slide

He stole my sweatshirt
