Rejuvenating Sunshine

The last few weeks have been so beautiful. Warm and sunny. Not too warm, probably in the 80's. Perfect for me. I love sunshine and warm weather but not ridiculously hot. There are certain states I would just not do well in! 

We have been outside a lot lately and just loving it. Meli is obsessed with daisies. She loves to have them put in her hair. On a mommy/daughter trip to the park recently, we just sat in the grass, braided hair and picked daisies. Such a peaceful and beautiful moment.

The kids and I have been trying to go on little adventures, while daddy is working. We had a blast at the duck pond (well river) the other day before Colin had to go to school. It was such a beautiful day, we walked there and then to school.

Colin has improved so much with riding his bike. He always wants to be outside practicing. He wants to be able to ride to school before it is out for the summer.

I think Colin may have allergies. Poor guy. I need to take him in to be checked. He is also going through a growth spurt. He slept this morning until almost 9. That NEVER happens! Meli, of course, still woke up at 6:30.

I love that they have so much fun together.

Exploring

The kids have been helping me in the yard . We have added eggplant, basil, and cherry tomatoes. We eat a lot of tomatoes!
